If you’re still having trouble coming to terms with our swizz of a summer being decidedly O-V-E-R, instead of throwing yourself in the nearest over-sized puddle why not embrace the windy, cooler, skin-damaging, hair-frizzing clime with an arsenal of beauty goodies that will make the transition just that little more bearable. Key body parts that will require extra-pampering are summer sun-frazzled skin and hair (if anyone wants to go back to Ibiza and give up all semblance of a real life, you’re on!) and the rough bits that do not welcome an average of 16 degrees Celsius i.e. heels and elbows. And then of course, just because the summer festivals are over doesn’t mean there shalt be no more fun!
But you can forget crazy day-glo shades and buttercup yellows, you now need a whole new palette of plums, chocolates, mochas and cranberry to look winsome and gorge, so we’ve ferreted out some delicious eye shadows, lippy and varnish. Oh, and just because (pale porcelain beauties aside) most girls look that much more fabby with a touch of colour to brighten their pallor we’ve found an lovely organic sunless tanning range with no nasty chemicals or smell – use sparingly and everyone will be convinced you’re merely in the rudest of health. All to be accompanied by a warming glass of yummy red Malbec of course – so let’s make it a “Cheers, here’s to autumn!”.
