Secretly, I’m sorry I spotted this on FashionIndie: Man clips to keep his hair out of his eyes. Much like the now-defunct banana clip, only now pour homme.

Try this trick: Rather than wash your locks first and condition second, condition first, leaving in for 5 - 15 minutes, then adding shampoo and rinsing.
I am not naming names….but I happen to know what hair products a certain rebounding singer used in her Circus video to get the retro style look:
Rene Furterer Spray Gloss
See? There are no secrets in Hollywood…especially when gorgeous hair is on the line.
Ever since I chopped my hair, there’s not been much I could do to style it up. Faced with a calendar full of festive affairs, I decided I needed something to liven up my locks. So, I gave Frederic Fekkai’s Spray On Hair Crystals a spin last Friday at my first holiday party of the season. The verdict: BRILLIANT! No high-school hair glitter here–this mist packs itty bitty sparkles that dust your tresses with subtle, eye-catching glints of gold.
NOTE: This pic doesn’t do it justice. The camera didn’t pick up the shimmer as well as I had hoped it would. But the compliments I got from my fellow revelers assured me it was dramatic and dazzling enough to convince me to go on another spray ride.
TIP: I recommend applying the hair crystals especially if you’re going to wear something strapless. As the night progresses, you’ll see that some sparkles shake off, glistening up your shoulders, back, and collar bone.
As a girl with budget-savvy savoir faire (aka a Recissionista), you’re mastering the art of looking fabulous for less.
Part of getting pretty for pennies is knowing where to find the deals. The other part is knowing how to max out what you got. Prime example of an ingredient that works the overtime shift for you: Citric acid.
In shampoo, citric acid does 2 things: First, it flattens hair cuticles, which bumps up the shine factor on your locks. It’s also stellar at removing oil, grime, and product buildup (bonus: washing out buildup wipes your slate clean, which makes your products more effective).
Citric acid can dry hair out, so it’s not a daily fix. But when used as a semi-often secret weapon, it’s a 3-for-1 way to shine on and boost up your strands, while getting more bang out of your regular shampoo. Crafty.
Did anyone see today’s Thrillist Nation? (I know it’s for bros, but this chick loves it anyway.) The story featured Roll Out Custom Wallpaper, and one of their available designs caught my eye in particular. Behold the “Sultry Hair Wallpaper” by artist Andrio Abero. The continuously-cascading-coif-pattern is slightly disturbing but seriously cool!
What do you think?
Does this wallpaper inspire you to:
A) Comb your home for matching accents
B) Pick up a paint brush instead
